Dehradun, 27 Nov: Kasiga School officially held the opening ceremony today for its Literature Festival, ‘The Page Turner’. Present was Mona Verma, a prolific author of 9 books and the distinguished guest of honor.

The ceremony began with the traditional lamp lighting.

The highlight of the ceremony was the address by Mona Verma, who shared her insights on the art of writing with the students. She introduced her books and inspired the young minds to develop a love for reading and writing.

The audience was then treated to a mesmerising puppet show of Aesop’s Fable – Monkey and the Crocodile, which conveyed valuable life lessons in an engaging and entertaining manner.

Kasiga students showcased their talent with a soulful Shlok Vaachan, reciting ancient Sanskrit verses devotedly.

Kasiga’s Lit Fest, which was also launched during the ceremony, promises to be a celebration of literature, creativity, and self-expression. The festival will feature a range of activities, including book readings, workshops, and panel discussions, and will provide a platform for students to engage with literature and express themselves creatively.
