Dehradun, 21 Jul: Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) was paid a courtesy call by the Vice-Chancellor of Kumaun University, Prof Diwan S Rawat, at the Lok Bhawan here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Governor was briefed on the University’s academic activities, research, innovation, and various contemporary issues related to higher education.
On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor presented the Governor with a coffee table book highlighting the University’s achievements and innovations.
