Dehradun, 19 Nov: The BJP has appealed to the people in Kedarnath to make the lotus bloom by creating a new record of voting in the Kedarnath by-election. State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt today expressed confidence that the people of Kedar Valley will bless their mother power candidate on the basic mantra of ‘Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi’ and will reject the opposition’s negative politics.
He also appealed to the voters to participate as much as possible in the festival of democracy to be held tomorrow. Bhatt noted that this election is to give impetus to the development work being done in Kedar Baba’s land. He asserted that it is an election to put a stamp on the policy of preserving heritage, tradition, and culture, and to foil the conspiracy of external intruders and anarchic elements to change the demography. Additionally, it is also an election to teach a lesson to those who spoil the image of Baba’s Dham and Sanatan, and to give a strong message to those who nurture corruption and counterfeit mafia.
He said, “BJP is a 24×7 party which is always active among the people. The BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal has spent three decades of her social life serving the people of Kedar Valley. The party is confident that the people of Kedarnath will strengthen the hands of PM Modi by electing Asha Didi as their representative with record votes.”
