Dehradun, 1 Mar: An exhibition of the “Holy Quran in the Mirror of Calligraphic Art” concluded here, today, leaving a lasting impression on a diverse audience from across India. Hosted by the Tasmia Holy Quran Museum, the event successfully showcased the Holy Quran’s universal message of peace and unity through exquisite calligraphic art and multi-lingual translations.
Dr S Farooq, President of the Tasmia Holy Quran Museum, extended a warm welcome to guests and visitors, emphasising the core message. “The Quran’s message is one of profound peace and brotherhood,” Dr Farooq stated. “It is crucial for our youngsters to understand and embrace this timeless wisdom.”
Shareen Arshi, praised the exhibition’s exceptional presentation, highlighting that “the message of the Quran is truly for all of humanity”.

Educational groups, including Dr Pratima Menon and her students, also lauded the unique presentation, finding the exhibition truly inspiring. The event drew a large and enthusiastic crowd of men, women, and children from various communities and states. Visitors had the opportunity to witness precious articles intricately engraved with Holy Quranic verses and their translations in an impressive 108 languages, including French, Chinese, Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Gurmukhi.
The closing ceremony featured a soulful recitation of Hamd by Syed Farrukh Ahmed. The distinguished gathering included notable personalities such as film actor and Editor Satish Sharma, Pratima Manon, Director RLEK, Dr RK Bakshi, Dr IP Pandey, MM Khan, Harsh Nidhi Sharma, Syed Haroon Ahmed, Syed Farrukh Ahmed, Dr Faisal Ahmed, Syed Imran Ahmed, Syed Mohammed Yasar, Jahangir Ahmad, Mufti Saleem Ahmed, Mufti Wasiullah, Mufti Ziya, and many other dignitaries from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, all united in celebrating this impactful cultural and spiritual event.
In the vote of thanks, Shareen Arshi said that Tasmia Holy Quran Museum is dedicated to fostering understanding and interfaith harmony through educational initiatives and exhibitions.
