Dehradun, 25 Jul: In a bid to ensure victory for the official district panchayat candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi addressed a public rally on Friday in support of Shyam Singh Pundir (Deepak), the BJP candidate from Chandroti District Panchayat area in Dehradun.

In his address, the Minister said, “I have come to seek votes for a young man who has been working with complete dedication towards public service and development. The developmental work carried out by Shyam Singh Pundir in the region could not have been possible by anyone else.” He added that over the past five years, development projects worth more than Rs 76 crore have been completed in the district panchayat area. Notably, a community hall worth Rs 3 crore is being constructed in the Purukul area and will soon be dedicated to the residents.

Praising the BJP’s working style, Joshi said, “When BJP workers come to power, they serve the people, but when Congress workers come to power, they indulge in brokerage. This is the difference between nationalism and family-centric politics.” Calling Shyam Singh Pundir a dedicated worker of the BJP, he highlighted that the party is led by the world’s most popular leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged the people to ensure a resounding victory for Shyam Singh Pundir so that the pace of development continues in the area.

Earlier, Minister Joshi also addressed a public rally in Jaintanwla (Suddhowala District Panchayat area) in support of BJP-backed district panchayat candidate Kanchan, appealing to the local residents to vote in her favour.
