Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurates development works in Vijay Colony Ward

Dehradun, 20 Dec: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated development works worth over Rs 38 lakh and laid the foundation stone for works worth over Rs 18 lakh in Ward 11, Vijay Colony, here, today. This area is part of his legislative constituency, Mussoorie. These works were funded through his MLA-LAD fund. The development projects include CC roads, retaining walls, and safety walls.

During the event, Joshi stated that the completion of these works would certainly benefit the residents of the area. He highlighted that the double-engine government, under Prime Minister Modi’s slogan of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”, is committed to serving the people. He also mentioned that the Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, is dedicated to strengthening basic facilities under the motto “Janta Ki Sarkar, Janta Ke Dwaar”.

The works inaugurated today included, in Vijay Colony Phase-2, Rs 7.20 lakh worth construction of CC road and drain. In Vijay Colony, Rs 8.45 lakh has been spent on CC road, drain construction and RCC slab, as also Rs 3.85 lakh for drain construction. In Ward-11, Vijay Colony, Rs 4.24 lakh has been spent on construction of drain and RCC slab. In Ward-11, Vijay Colony, Shakti Colony, Rs 7.54 lakh worth of renovation of the community hall has been done. In Vijay Colony Phase-2, Rs 7.02 lakh has been spent on construction of CC road and drain.

Foundation stones were also laid for similar works in the area.

The event was attended by BJP Mandal President Pradeep Rawat, Dr Babita Sahotra, Kishori Lal, Satyendra Kharola, Bhavna Chaudhary, Satyendra Nath, Om Prakash, Sachin, and others.
