The Minister gave instructions that the files related to providing employment opportunities abroad—under the Chief Minister’s announcement—should be given priority and immediately forwarded to the government. He also held a detailed discussion regarding the long-pending issues of UPNL personnel at the government level and emphasised their timely resolution.

He also instructed that the immediate relief amount of Rs 1.50 lakh should be promptly provided to the bereaved family.

The Minister affirmed that the welfare of ex-servicemen and their dependants working through UPNL remains a top priority of the government, and all necessary steps will be taken in this regard.
