Dehradun, 18 Feb: Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi paid tribute to martyr Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhaundiyal on the occasion of his first death anniversary, here, today.
A function was held the martyr’s memory at the Garhwal Sabha.
Joshi recalled on the occasion that Major Dhaundiyal had been awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his bravery by the Government of India. Joshi also met the martyr’s mother Saroj Dhaundiyal and other relatives.
Among those who paid tribute were Jagdish Dhaundiyal, Pandit Damodar Semwal, Diwakar Bhatt, Santosh Gairola, Mahendra Chamoli, Mayank Khanduri, Anuj Rohilla, Bhavna, Pankaj Khushwal, Sunil Rana, Piyush Chamoli, Madhu Thapliyal, Deepak Uniyal, Tarun Chamoli, Bhopal Singh Rawat, etc.
