MUFC, Col Brown School score wins in St George’s College Heritage Cup Soccer Tournament

Mussoorie, 10 Aug: St George’s College is conducting the ‘52nd edition of the St George’s College Heritage Cup (aka Jackie) Invitational Soccer Tournament’ from 1 to 14 August. A total of 26 teams, comprising 15 clubs and 11 school teams, are participating in the tournament.

Two matches were held today.

In the first match, Mussoorie United Football Club (MUFC) defeated Mussoorie Boys’ Club, 2-0. For Mussoorie United Football Club, both the goals were scored by Anurag in the 3^rd and 46^th minutes.

In the second match played today, Col Brown School defeated Mussoorie Public School by 4-1.

For Col Brown School, the goals were scored by Ayan Malik in the 2^nd and 40^th minutes, Justin in the 35^th minute and Ritanshu in the 45^th minute.

For Mussoorie Public School, the only goal was scored by Akshat in the 55^th minute.

The referees for today’s matches were Abhi Ruchi Gurung, Pushkar Singh Gusain, Deepak Rawat, Prashant Bisht and Milan Chhetri.
