Dehradun, 28 Nov: The Kasiga Lit Fest, a celebration of literature, creativity, and self-expression, entered its second day here, today, with a plethora of exciting events and activities.
The major highlight of the day was the Hindi Inter-House One Act Play competition, which saw the students of Kasiga School showcase their theatrical talents. The competition was fierce, with each house presenting a unique and captivating play, each with a profound social message.
Present on the occasion was Rajiv Shukla, a distinguished theatre personality, who served as the Chief Guest and Judge for the competition.
Pacific House emerged the winner, followed by Everest House in second place, Nile House in third place, and Amazon House in fourth place.
Following the one-act play competition, a workshop on writing was conducted by Rajneesh Trivedi ‘Alok’, a renowned writer, journalist, and editor. Trivedi has had a distinguished career in journalism and literature, and has edited several publications, including the literary weekly newspaper, ‘Navodit Pravah’. He has also received several awards for his contributions to literature and journalism.
During the workshop, Trivedi shared his insights and expertise on writing and provided valuable tips and guidance to the students. The workshop was interactive and engaging, and the students participated enthusiastically, asking questions and seeking feedback on their writing. The workshop was a huge success, and the students benefited greatly from Trivedi’s expertise and guidance.
The Kasiga Lit Fest promises to be a memorable experience for all involved. With a range of exciting events and activities lined up for the remaining days, the festival is set to conclude on a high note.
