DEHRADUN, 21 Dec: Iconic Superstar Padmini Kolhapure will attend the special screening of internationally awarded film ‘MAALI’ on Sunday at Silvercity.
Maali is written and directed by Shiv C Shetty, co-written and produced by Sonali Rana. The film is entirely shot in Uttarakhand with local artists and technicians. Maali has travelled across International film festivals and has won the Best International Feature Film at Sweden and Best Director in New York, Queens World Film Festival.
The film is a journey of a 16-year-old girl Tulsi, from the calm mountains to the concrete jungles and her struggle when she witnesses the life of the city full of greed, loneliness and depression.
People in Dehradun are thrilled that the ‘Insaf Ka Tarazu’, ‘Prem Rog’, and ‘Sauten’ fame actress Padmini Kolhapure would be amongst them.
