Dehradun, 21 Apr: Priyanka Joshi today formally assumed charge as District Information Officer (DIO) Dehradun following her transfer from the Information Directorate. It may be recalled that she assumes charge following the transfer of Assistant Director and District Information Officer Dehradun, BC Negi, to the State Information Directorate.
On the occasion, officials and staff of the District Information family extended a warm welcome to Priyanka Joshi. A brief programme was organised at the office where personnel greeted her with a bouquet and conveyed their best wishes.
Expressing her commitment to strengthening departmental work, Joshi emphasised the importance of teamwork and highlighted her focus on making public relations activities more effective. On this occasion, her colleagues expressed confidence that under her leadership the department would gain new direction and momentum, ensuring enhanced communication and outreach in the district.
