Rudraprayag, 7 Nov: Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon reached Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham with daughter Rasha, today, and obtained darshan of the Deities.
After this, Raveena also visited Mana village with her daughter. She had accompanied Chairman of the Badri Kedar Temple Committee, Ajendra Ajay, from Dehradun to Kedarnath.
She reached Dehradun yesterday from where she took off for Kedarnath along with Ajendra Ajay, today, and after performing worship at Kedarnath, reached Badrinath this afternoon and offered prayers there also.
She, later, also visited Mana village which is the last (or now called first) village of India along the Indo-Tibetan border.
The portals of Kedarnath Dham are closing on 15 November and those of Badrinath Dham are closing on 18 November. In such a situation, many big leaders and celebrities are making a beeline to Kedarnath-Badrinath Dhams.
Kishore Panwar, Vice President of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), welcomed Raveena and Rasha at Kedarnath and presented prasad of the temple to them. Raveena, along with daughter Rasha, performed special worship of Baba Kedar. She also visited Saraswati River, Bhim Pul, Ganesh Cave and Vyas Cave. Later, she also participated in the evening Aarti at the Badrinath shrine. She is staying today at Badrinath and is expected to leave for Dehradun tomorrow morning after attending Vedapath Puja at the Badrinath shrine. From Dehradun, she will leave for Mumbai tomorrow.
Apart from the common devotees, there is also a gathering of VIP devotees in Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. Before this, SP MP Dimple Yadav also visited Kedarnath and then Badrinath.
