Dehradun, 29 Nov: The Dehradun administration has claimed that road safety and improvement work is being conducted on a war footing in the district. The work at ONGC Chowk has been completed, while work on Cantt Road is in progress. The District Magistrate has appointed SDM, Sadar, Kumkum Joshi as the nodal officer to expedite the road safety work.
In compliance with the DM’s instructions, the work related to road improvement, speed breakers, and zebra crossings is in full swing. DM Savin Bansal is personally monitoring the road safety works. SDM and Nodal Officer Kumkum Joshi is regularly overseeing the works on site.
All five speed breakers have been constructed on New Cantt Road, and the work of painting zebra crossings at Dilaram Chowk will start today. In accordance with the instructions, the road safety work is being completed on a war footing and as per the required standards.
