DEHRADUN, 18 Nov: Rotary Club Dehradun and Viklang Sewa Sansthan distributed blankets to more than hundred handicapped children, ladies and men at Tasmia Academy, 1 Inder Road. Gulshan Bahari, the President of Parvatiya Viklang Sewa Sansthan informed the audience about the aims and contribution of his organisation. This organisation has been in the welfare and service of handicapped and underprivileged people since 1988.

Patricia Hilton, President of Rotary Club, informed the audience that the club has been helping needy and underprivileged people in many ways. Many such projects of the club are in progress at the moment. She promised to continue with this good work. Dr Farooq encouraged the handicapped people and advised them to keep their confidence level high. He also appreciated the valuable services rendered by Rotary Club Dehradun and Parvatiya Viklang Sewa in such a noble mission.
Chief Guest Sharma promised to pursue the proposal of opening a Viklang Market where shops can be allotted to handicapped people. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Rtn Brig KG Behl (Retd).
