Dehradun, 19 Nov: Recie Jordan from Kensington, Australia, today visited Natraj – The Green Bookshop, at its new location opposite the Van Bhawan on Rajpur Road.
Jordan is an India lover, a practicing Buddhist and Convenor of the Australian Ruskin Bond Readers’ Society and is currently on a visit to the valley.
Jordan was thrilled to find the complete works of Ruskin Bond signed by the author at Natraj Bookshop. She instantly purchased several including a copy of ‘The Lone Fox Dancing: My Autobiography’ by Ruskin Bond. Bond has chosen to dedicate the book to Upendra Arora, owner of Natraj Bookshop.
Jordan requested Arora to convey her felicitations to the world famous author Ruskin Bond on being honoured with the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Lifetime Achievement Award. Jordan said the honour bestowed on the legendary author is indeed well deserved and all members of the Australian Ruskin Bond Readers’ Society join her in felicitating their favourite author.
The prestigious Award aims to celebrate excellence in Journalism, recognise courage and showcase outstanding contributions and individuals every year. The Award was received by Shristi Bond, the author’s granddaughter on his behalf.
