The only golfer representing Uttarakhand, Samriddh Chand Thakur played a good round of golf in the hot and humid temperature of Kolkata. In both the tournaments, he finished in 9th position and secured his card for the 2023 entry in the upcoming IGU Main Tournaments. Only the top 12 position holder players are allowed to play the IGU Main Events. Samriddh has been playing golf for the last seven years. In this period he has won many tournaments in the IGU feeder tour, the Selaqui Golf Championship, WAGR events, etc.
