With a focus on  giving back to the communities towards social causes a General Health Camp was conducted on Friday for all the construction workers and other staff in the community, around under the guidance of SCM Akshara Vadalikar and support of AIWC Sahaspur Rural Branch President and Patron of AIWC, New Delhi, Rakesh Dhawan.
The program was conducted in collaboration and support of Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya & Dr KKBM Subharti Hospital, Jhajra, Dehradun co-ordinated by Harish Sharma (OSD-Marketing) under guidance of Dr Prashaant Kumar Bhatnagar, an eminent Public Health Specialist and Head-Marketing, Publicity & Public Relations, Subharti Hospital. The Doctors who conducted the Camp were Senior Physician Dr VD Semwal, Female Physician- Gynac Dr Sonali, Physiotherapist Dr Shilpa & Optometrist Dr Sunita Petwal.
The programme specifically aimed at specializations as general medicine, Gynaecology, Physiotherapy and eye care for the community people. During the health camp, the prescription provided by the doctors was taken to the medicine counter, where patients could collect their medicines for free. It was felt that organizing certain health camps in the community premise can benefit the needy section of the society in accessing health care facilities and generating awareness among people. 100 people could benefit from the health camp out of which 17 were female and 83 were male beneficiaries. Highest number of patients were related to aspects of malnutrition or physio related cases. Doctors examined the underlying causes of poor nutritional outcomes and guided the patients with economical qualitative methods to optimise their health with good nutritional foods. Free medication was provided according to the OPD. Furthermore,  Physiotherapist Dr Shilpa conducted various exercise sessions with the patients along with physio equipment
