Dehradun, 19 Nov: Sardar Bhagwan Singh University (SBSU) concluded its three-day 30th Annual Day celebrations on Monday with an unforgettable musical evening featuring renowned vocalist Parth Sharma.
The globally acclaimed artist, who has performed across Europe, America, and Asia, mesmerised the audience with his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. His electrifying performance, accompanied by a live band, had the students on their feet, fully immersed in the rhythm. Sharma was joined by an exceptional ensemble, including Himanshu on bass guitar, Aryan on lead guitar, Rahul on percussion, Akhilesh on keyboard, Kamal on drums, and Mohsin on the violin.
A special moment of the evening was the debut of “Zindadili”, an original composition by SBSU faculty member and Cultural Club enthusiast Naveen Singh.
“The energy and enthusiasm of the performances created an engaging and joyous atmosphere,” said Dr Gaurav Deep Singh, President of SBSU, who attended the event alongside other university dignitaries such as Registrar Dr Deepak Sahni and Prof Veerma Ram, Director of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.
Held on the university campus, the musical extravaganza was a fitting finale to the institution’s annual celebrations, highlighting both professional and homegrown talent while fostering a vibrant and supportive environment for students.
The event also saw the presence of Dy Registrar Vipin Jain, Captain Nalini Mahirishi, and other faculty members and staff, underscoring the university’s commitment to providing an inclusive and safe space for its student community.
