The manner in which smart tourism should be developed was also discussed. They said that nowadays the government is continuously working on smart tourism, small homestays and guest houses have been opened in many areas of Uttarakhand, which is attracting a lot of tourists from the country and abroad. The restaurant operators should also use the digital platform to promote local produce and the dishes prepared from it, so that their business can grow. At present, tourists from India and abroad like to spend their holidays amidst natural beauty and beautiful environment. If this system is implemented in Uttarakhand, it will help the tourists a lot and boost the tourism business.
