DEHRADUN, 18 Nov: HOD, Deptt. of Pediatrics of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma has been honoured with the prestigious Children Champions Award 2022. He has been accorded with this award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of child welfare. This award was presented to him by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in a programme organised at Chief Minister’s Camp Office Cum Residence. Chairman of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj has congratulated Dr. Sharma and showered his divine blessings on him.
Principal, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dr. Yashbir Dewan informed that Uttarakhand Child Protection has awarded certain pediatricians with this honour recognizing their commendable efforts in prevention and treatment of diseases of children. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma said that it is a matter of pride for all the awardees to be honoured with this award. He said that this award will provide amotivation to the pediatricians to serve children in the best possible manner.
A congratulatory programme was also organized at the Principal’s office of SGRRIM&HS to mark this occasion. In the programme, doctors and staff members of SGRR Medical College and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital complimented Dr. Sharma on bringing laurels to SGRR Medical College and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
It’s significant to mention that Dr. Utkarsh Sharma is a Senior Professor and HOD of Deptt. of Pediatrics of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Sharma extended deep gratitude towards hospital’s Chairman Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj.
