Dehradun, 22 Apr: The Dehradun SSP inspected the preparations for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra and the summer tourist season in the city. He visited the main roads and reviewed the arrangements made for smooth traffic flow during the busy season.
According to the information, SSP inspected the alternate route for tourists and vehicles coming from Asharodi and going towards Mussoorie. The route includes Shimla Bypass, GMS Road, Ballupur, Cantt, Kimadi, and Mussoorie Road. He spoke with officers and checked the readiness of the route. He gave instructions to install signboards with route details to help tourists.
He also told officials to coordinate with concerned departments and get damaged roads repaired as soon as possible. To reduce traffic pressure on busy city roads, the SSP asked officers to prepare a proper traffic plan and mark diversion points.
