Mussoorie, 6 Jun: The Annual School Fete, one of the most eagerly awaited events on the school calendar, was held on 5 June at St George’s College, here. The entire Manorite family gathered at 9 a.m. at the Middle Flat for a day filled with fun, laughter and celebration.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Manoj KS Aswal, Circle Officer, Mussoorie. He was warmly welcomed with a potted plant as a token of appreciation and gratitude. The Guest of Honour, Brother Britto, Superior of the Institution, was also welcomed similarly.
Bhavik Gupta of Class 10 formally introduced the Chief Guest and extended a warm welcome to the other dignitaries, parents, staff and students from neighbouring schools.
Following the Introduction of the Chief Guest, the School Fete was officially declared open by Manoj KS Aswal. A vibrant dance performance by the students infused the air with joy and celebration.
A special Award Ceremony was organised to felicitate the ICSE and ISC students of the 2024 Batch for their outstanding Academic Achievements. The awards were presented by the Guest of Honour, Brother Britto.
The ISC Prize Winners were:
Agasthya Baid – Cash Award of Rs 1,00,000 for securing 98.50%; Convener’s Award (First in Mussoorie Region) of Rs 8,000; Scholar of the Year Award; Centum Certificates for scoring 100% in Commerce and Computer Science.
Bisman Kaur – Cash Award of Rs 25,000 for securing 98.00%; Convener’s Award (Second Prize in School) of Rs 2,000.
Kripanayudh Choudhary – Centum Certificate for scoring 100% in Art.
Pradyun Singh – Centum Certificate for scoring 100% in Political Science.
ICSE Prize Winners were:
Jayant Jain – Cash Award of Rs 75,000 for securing 98.2%; Convener’s Award (First in Mussoorie Region) of Rs 8,000; Centum Certificate for scoring 100% in Computer Application.
Nikunj Dhandharia – Cash Award of Rs 75,000 for securing 97.2%; Centum Certificate for scoring 100% in History.
Siddhant Sharma – Cash Award of Rs 75,000 for securing 97.2%.
Tanmay Aggarwal – Convener’s Award (First in Mussoorie Region) of Rs 8,000 for securing 98.2%.
Centum Certificates were awarded to Shubhashish Gupta – 100% in Computer Application; Ansh Varshney – 100% in History and Biology; Sanskar Goel, Adhyan Taparia, Mehul, Yubhav Agrawal, Aarav Basant, Naitik Verma, Aarya Bikram Rana and Ashutosh Kumar Gupta – 100% in History.
Colourful decorations and artistically crafted posters enhanced the visual appeal of the various stalls. Talented student musicians from every class entertained the gathering with lively and melodious band performances. The food and games stalls remained bustling throughout the day.
The Lucky Draw added an extra thrill to the event.

To mark the conclusion of the festivities, the Chief Guest was presented a memento by Brother Jeyaseelan S, the Principal, as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation.
The Annual School Fete was a celebration of teamwork, collaboration and school spirit. It encouraged leadership and organisational skills among students and offered a much-needed break after the First Term Examinations.
The event was successfully organised under the guidance and supervision of Brother Jeyaseelan S (Principal), Brother Felix Kumar (Vice-Principal), Brother Britto (Superior), Rajeev Parihar (Head Accountant), Bhavnesh Negi and Praveen Gusain (Estate Manager).
