Dehradun, 1 Sep: More than 100 students comprising over 30 teams participated in a 24-hour hackathon at Graphic Era, here. Team 404 Founders secured the first position and won a prize of Rs 50,000.
At the 24-hour hackathon organised at Graphic Era Deemed University, students showcased their dedication and hard work by presenting innovative solutions to complex challenges of the maritime industry, demonstrating their exceptional technical skills. Team 404 Founders (Adityakirti, Aditya Kumar Bhardwaj, Megha Singh, Arpan Singh) developed an excellent solution to the laytime problem and bagged the first prize of Rs 50,000. Team Techniti (Sonakshi Negi, Ritika Rawat, Saksham Godiyal, Sarthak Pundir) prepared a modern project on weather forecasting and won the second prize of Rs 30,000, while Team Run Time Healers (Vidisha Raturi, Vishwan Patnayak, Megha Joshi, Vansh Jeswal) presented a creative model on AI agents and received the third prize of Rs 20,000. These winning teams proved that the imagination, technical expertise, and innovation of youth can not only solve real-world challenges but also give the maritime industry a new direction and greater heights.
The hackathon was jointly organised by the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of Graphic Era Deemed University and Integrated Maritime Exchange (IME). On this occasion, TBI Graphic Era Incubator Manager Harsh Vardhan Singh Rawat, Charvi Pandey, Ishita Vashishtha, IME CEO Kunal Narayan Uniyal, Vikas Gadu, along with other faculty members and students were among those present.
