Third day of recruitment rally for Indian Army in Kotdwar sees 1,200 candidates of Uttarkashi participating

DEHRADUN, 17 Jan: Today was the third day of the recruitment rally wherein approximately 1200 candidates of Uttarkashi participated. Brigadier Sanjeev Kumar Mandal, Sena Medal, Deputy Director General, Recruiting Zone (UP & UK) visited and flagged off the races of the Agniveer rally at Victoria Cross, Gabbar Singh Stadium in Kotdwar. Brigadier Mandal motivated the candidates participating in the rally which encouraged them to show high enthusiasm at the event.
Elaborate and well thought out arrangements have been made by ARO Lansdowne with proactive assistance from Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre as well as officials of civil administration. Despite not so conducive weather conditions, the footfall for the rally has been encouraging due to emphasis on facilitating the candidates by ensuring smooth process and administrative arrangements. All candidates participating in the rally displayed a high standard of discipline, dedication and sincerity which is testimony of their faith in Agnipath scheme.
Candidates are informed that the recruitment process is fair and transparent with adequate checks and balances and that the scope for fraud or cheating is nil. Their advice to candidates is to avoid touts or agents and should any such individuals approach, the matter is to be reported immediately. It was stated that their motto in the recruiting organization has always been to select the best through an absolute fair and transparent system.
