Dehradun, 23 Jul: Uttaranchal University has announced its inclusion in the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), South Asia.
The SDSN, operating under the UN Secretary-General, aims to mobilise global academic institutions to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement. It will connect Uttaranchal University with experts worldwide, promoting its activities on a global stage and opening doors to new opportunities for funding and collaboration.
“This achievement strengthens our dedication to sustainable development and places us within a worldwide network focused on addressing some of the most urgent global challenges,” stated Jitender Joshi, President of Uttaranchal University.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) initiative was appreciated by the Vice President, Ankita Joshi, and the Vice Chancellor, Prof Dharam Buddhi. The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof Rajesh Bahuguna, encouraged the team spirit at Uttaranchal University to collaboratively strive for success and growth. Dr Abhishek Joshi, the Executive Director of Student Affairs & IT Services, personally congratulated the IQAC leadership and team.
Joining SDSN reaffirms Uttaranchal University’s dedication to advancing sustainable development and fostering a more equitable and environmentally responsible world, it was stated.
