Union MoS Ajay Bhatt, former CM Nishank visit Kedarnath, Badrinath

Rudraprayag, 13 Nov: The arrival of VVIPs in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham continues, as the portals of the temples are due to close soon for the winter. Today, it was the turn of Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt and former Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to visit Badrinath and Kedarnath Dhams and offer special prayers at both the shrines.

Both, Bhatt and Nishank visited the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples along with their respective families. At both the places, BJP workers and Badri-Kedar Temple Committee members welcomed Nishank and Ajay Bhatt. Temple Committee Vice President Kishore Panwar welcomed both the leaders. Panwar said that both the leaders performed special prayers at the Badrinath Dham, after which they were presented the Prasad of Lord Badrivishal. On this occasion, Ajay Bhatt also met Rawal Ishwari Prasad and held a discussion with him.

Temple committee member Bhaskar Dimri, Dharmadhikari Radhakrishna Thapliyal, temple officer Rajendra Chauhan, Vedapathi Ravindra Bhatt, former municipal president Rishi Prasad Sati, BJP leaders Subhash Dimri, Nitesh Chauhan, Laxman Farakiya along with Rajendra Semwal, media in-charge of the Temple Committee Harish Gaur were also present on the occasion.

Haridwar MP Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank reached Kedarnath Dham after visiting Badrinath Dham. Here, Executive Officer RC Tiwari welcomed him and presented Prasad of Lord Kedarnath. On this occasion, Kedar Sabha President Rajkumar Tiwari, Priest Shivling, Dharmacharya Aunkar Shukla, Pradeep Semwal, Kuldeep Dharmwan and Lalit Trivedi were among those present on this occasion.

Yesterday, on the occasion of Diwali, Union Minister of State for Forests, Environment, Climate Change Ashwini Kumar Choubey, too, had darshan of Lord Badrivishal. BJP National Vice President Saudan Singh returned from Badrinath yesterday after a three-day stay. This year there has been a beeline of VVIPs and Bollywood celebrities to both these shrines particularly during the past few days before the close of the portals of the shrines for the winter season.
