Dehradun, 14 Dec: A team of teachers and students from Uzbekistan’s Namangan Engineering Construction Institute reached Graphic Era Deemed University today and obtained information about the technologies adopted here.
The Deemed University had signed an MoU with the institute for academic exchange three months ago, as a part of which the team arrived today.
The team includes Vice Rector of Namangan University for Scientific Work and Innovations Dadamirzayev Mohammadjon Gulomkodirovich, Head of International Relations Office, Ergashev Islomjon Ilhomjon Ugli, Head of Economic Department, Aripov Oybek Abdullahayevich, Associate Professor of Economics Department Xolmirzaev Ulugbek Abdulahzovich, Associate Professor, Information Technology, Asomiddinov Anvarjon Inomjonovich, Associate Professor of Road Engineering Department Habibullayev Alimardon Xidoyatillayevich, senior teacher of Architecture Department Quosimov Ilhom Maribovich, and Deputy Director Dadamirzayev Muzaffar Kabhibullahayevich.
The team also met Vice Chancellor Dr Narpinder Singh.
On this occasion, a workshop was also organised on the role of information technology in economics. Dr Guru Prasad of the Deemed University threw light on the usefulness of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, etc.
Graphic Era Deemed University’s Dean, International Affairs, Dr DR Gangodkar, Associate Dean, International Affairs, Prof Sachin Sharma, HOD, Management, Dr Sachin Ghai, HOD, Civil Engineering, Prof Sanjeev Kumar, HOD, Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr Prabha Lama and Computer Science Engineering Department’s Dr Neha Garg were also present at the event.
