Dehradun, 22 Jul: The Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Prof Ramakant Pandey, met Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) at the Lok Bhawan here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor gave a detailed presentation on the university’s academic activities, research and innovation initiatives, and its future roadmap. The Governor emphasised the need to further promote India’s knowledge tradition, the preservation and advancement of the Sanskrit language, and high-quality education and research at the university.
Additional Secretary Reena Joshi was also present at the meeting.
