DEHRADUN, 29 Oct: Minister Ganesh Joshi held a review meeting of the Rural Development Department with the departmental officers. During the meeting, Minister Joshi gave necessary directions to the officers for timely implementation of schemes related to rural development. Joshi said that November 9 is the state foundation day. On November 4, the Chief Minister is going to launch Lakhpati Didi Yojana. The target is that by 2025, when our state will be 25 years old,1.25 lakh sisters will become lakhpati. On that day, the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will also be given houses. Similarly, appointment letters will be given to the beneficiaries of Kaushal Yojana. Matrishakti is to be strengthened through this program. Rural Development Secretary Dr BVRC Purushotam, Additional Secretary Nitika Khandelwal, Additional Secretary Anand Swarup and other officers were present on this occasion.
