Dehradun, 12 Jul: The Walk-in Audition 2.0 for Miss Uttarakhand 2026, organised by Sinmit Communications, was held on Sunday at the Sky Deck of Centrio Mall, Dehradun. A total of 35 young women were selected for the Miss Uttarakhand 2026 contest.
More than 50 participants from different districts of Uttarakhand took part in the audition held on Sunday. Over 100 young women had participated in the previous audition round. From a combined pool of around 150 contestants across both rounds, 35 finalists were selected.
During the auditions, participants showcased their talent, confidence, personality, and ramp-walking skills. Young women from Dehradun, Tehri, Khatima, Haridwar, Mussoorie, Chamoli, and several other parts of the state participated and demonstrated their abilities.
The selected finalists expressed their happiness, stating that reaching the Miss Uttarakhand 2026 platform was a dream come true for them. They described the competition as an important opportunity for personality development and talent enhancement.
On the occasion, Sinmit Communications Directors Dalip Sindhi and Rajeev Mittal informed that various subtitle rounds will be conducted in the coming weeks, followed by the grand finale of Miss Uttarakhand 2026, which will be organised on a grand scale in August. They added that the platform provides talented young women of Uttarakhand with an opportunity to showcase their potential and build their identity.
The judging panel included Miss Uttarakhand 2025 Smriti Rawat, First Runner-Up Vaishnavi Lohani, Third Runner-Up Ambika Rawat, Dalip Sindhi, and Rajeev Mittal.
The event was successfully coordinated with the support of Production Head Rahul Chhabra, Coordinators Himani Rawat and Ananya Bhandari, Choreographer Jazz Pushkar Soni, and Stylist Priyaditi Sindhi.
