Mussoorie, 18 Jan: A car went out of control and overturned on the road near the IDH Building, causing injuries to five persons. The injured were taken to Mussoorie Sub District Hospital with the help of police and local people. In view of their critical condition, two of them were referred to a higher centre in Dehradun.
This morning, a car (UK02 T 7954), going from Uttarkashi towards Dehradun, went out of control, hit the hillside and overturned. On receiving information about the incident, the Mussoorie Police reached the spot with an ambulance and, with the help of local people, the injured were taken to the sub-district hospital, where they were given first aid.
Dr Yatendra Singh, CMS, Sub District Hospital, said that, two passengers, Sushant and Sushant’s wife have suffered serious injuries and have been referred to Dehradun. Mussoorie Police said that the incident is being investigated. It is believed that due to frost on the road, the car suddenly went out of control on a turn and, after hitting the hillside, overturned. The families of the injured have been informed about the incident.
