Dehradun, 28 Apr: At the prestigious national platform of “Bharat Vibhushan Samman – 2026”, Devvrat Puri Goswami (Detective Dev) from Uttarakhand was awarded the “Distinguished Excellence Award in Investigation” for his exceptional investigative work at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha building in Chandigarh.
The grand ceremony was organised at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Chandigarh, where Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan personally presented the award.
During the event, Speaker Sandhwan praised Detective Dev’s work and addressed him as “India’s greatest detective”. This recognition stands as a testament to his years of experience, successful handling of high-profile cases, and unwavering commitment to truth.
Having received the “Distinguished Excellence Award in Investigation”, Detective Dev has carved a unique identity in the investigative field. His work has not only solved complex cases but has also strengthened justice and public trust in society.
Receiving this honour at such a prestigious platform as the Punjab Vidhan Sabha marks a historic moment in his career, establishing him as a powerful and influential investigative expert at the national level.
Detective Dev has successfully handled numerous complex and sensitive cases across India. His investigations include exposing cyber frauds causing financial losses, uncovering food adulteration rackets, revealing exploitation and fraud by fake godmen, exposing online matrimonial scams, and conducting in-depth investigations into marital disputes and divorce cases.
Additionally, he has exposed frauds involving the sale of ordinary products under big brand names and dismantled networks misleading people in the name of superstition. Notably, his work in fake product and counterfeit investigations has been highly commendable, where he uncovered large-scale scams deceiving consumers.
