Vishal Bhojak assumes charge as State Youth Congress President

DEHRADUN, 2 May: Youth Congress leader Vishal Bhojak formally assumed charge as the newly-appointed State President of the Youth Congress here on Saturday. The occasion was marked by the presence of Youth Congress National president Udaybhan Chiv, National In-Charge Manish Sharma, State Congress president Ganesh Godiyal, State Election Campaign Committee Chairman Pritam Singh, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Congress Working Committee member Gurdeep Singh Sappal, State Election Management Committee Chairman Harak Singh Rawat, former National Secretary Prakash Joshi, National Social Media Secretary Vaibhav Walia, along with senior office-bearers and Youth Congress workers.
Taking charge, Bhojak claimed that he would work with full commitment to strengthen and activate the organisation, making it more responsive to public issues. He emphasised on the need to connect youth with the organisation, raise their voice effectively and ensure their participation in the development of the State. He claimed that unemployment, education and inflation are serious challenges facing the youth today, and the Youth Congress would play a decisive role in addressing them. He called upon workers to unite and spread the organisation’s ideology to every household.
Senior leaders and workers present on the occasion extended congratulations and their best wishes to Bhojak and his newly appointed team. They expressed confidence that under his leadership the Youth Congress would reach new heights. The programme witnessed the participation of all newly-appointed office-bearers of the State Youth Congress and hundreds of workers, reflecting the enthusiasm and expectations surrounding the new leadership.
