Dehradun, 3 May: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday heard the grievances of people from various districts of the state at his official residence Mukhya Sevak Sadan. During the public hearing, a large number of people presented their problems to the Chief Minister regarding roads, drinking water, electricity, health, education, land matters, and other public interest issues.
The Chief Minister directed officials of his office and related departments to prioritise all complaints and demands received during the public hearing and ensure regular monitoring of each case. He urged that there should be no negligence or unnecessary delay in resolving public issues. He directed officials of the Chief Minister’s Office to immediately forward received complaints to the relevant departments, ensuring timely resolution, and providing information on the action taken to the complainant.

The Chief Minister stated that it is the government’s priority to ensure that every citizen of the state receives prompt and effective resolution of their problems. Programmes like public hearings are a powerful means of establishing communication between the government and the public, allowing the government to gain insight into grassroots problems and take effective decisions to address them. The
Chief Minister stated that the state government is working with a commitment to public welfare, good governance, and overall development. Extending the benefits of development schemes to remote and border areas of the state is among the government’s top priorities. He stated that strict instructions have been issued to officials to ensure that people receive the benefits of government schemes and services in a simple and timely manner, in accordance with public expectations.

On this occasion, film actress Himani Shivpuri also met the Chief Minister and expressed her gratitude for the excellent arrangements made for pilgrims during the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand. She stated that the administration is working diligently to ensure better travel arrangements. Anganwadi workers also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for his positive assurances on their problems and demands.
Popular veteran actress from Uttarakhand Himani Shivpuri visits the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami with her brother Himanshu Bhatt. She told Garhwal Post that, “During the interaction, we had a meaningful and engaging discussion on the holistic development and upliftment of Uttarakhand. Particular emphasis was laid on preserving and promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage, strengthening the ecosystem for local artisans, and creating sustainable opportunities for their growth. We also touched upon the importance of encouraging youth participation, fostering skill development, and building platforms that can showcase Uttarakhand’s art, craft, and traditions at a wider level.
