Pledge taken in Mussoorie to follow Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s ideals

Mussoorie, 7 Jul: During the monthly meeting of the BJP Mussoorie Mandal here, today, party workers paid tribute to Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his 125th birth anniversary and pledged to carry forward his vision of nationalism, sacrifice, and a unified India. The meeting also featured detailed discussions on organisational strengthening, digital training, and preparations for upcoming elections. Presided over by Mandal President Rajat Agrawal, the meeting saw workers paying their respects by offering floral tributes to Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s portrait. Speakers emphasised that Dr Mukherjee’s sacrifice for the national interest would remain a source of inspiration and urged workers to strengthen the organisation by following the path he showed.

Training on the BJP’s ‘Saral App’ was also conducted during the meeting. Trainer Abhilash provided detailed information about the digital learning platform, explaining that through the app workers could study the BJP’s history, ideology, organisational functioning, and various programmes, as well as take online exams to obtain digital certificates. All workers were urged to download the app on their mobile phones and use it actively.

The contribution of BLA-2 workers was specifically appreciated during the meeting. It was noted that the Mussoorie Mandal demonstrated the organisation’s active spirit by completing over 99 percent of the work ahead of schedule during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign for the voter list.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi also expressed his gratitude to all the workers for this achievement. During the meeting, workers raised local issues, offered organisational suggestions, and voiced grievances. Office bearers assured them that all suggestions would be seriously considered and resolved. Furthermore, with the upcoming elections in mind, a call was made to further strengthen the organisation at the booth level and for every worker to play an active role.

A large number of BJP workers were present at the meeting, including Mandal President Rajat Agarwal, Vice President Vijay Bindwal, Mahila Morcha President Jasoda Sharma, Gud Mohan Rana, Narendra Melwan, Sapna Sharma, Abhilash, Madan Mohan Sharma, Yuva Morcha President Sachin Panwar, Amar Dev Bhatt, Mukesh Kharola, Ujjwal Negi, Avatar Kukreja, Ranveer Kandari, Sunita Dabral, Kamala Thapliyal, Anita Dhanai, Darshani Semwal, Roshni Rawat, Kavita, and Seema Pundir.
