Dehradun, 13 Jul: Author Yojana Sah Jain, writer and scholar active in Indo‑German cultural relations, today made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his camp office here. On the occasion, she presented her literary creations including the short story collection ‘Imli Ka Chatkara’, the novel ‘Banaras Meets Berlin’ and the poetry collection ‘Kagaz Pe Phudakti Gilehriyan’.
The CM extended his best wishes to Jain for her literary achievements and observed that literature is an effective medium to give strong expression to society, culture and human values. Appreciating her contribution in fostering cultural and intellectual dialogue between India and Germany, he expressed confidence that her works would not only present Indian culture, folk life and sensitivities effectively on the global stage but also help further strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
