‘Guru-Dakshata FIP’ concludes at Uttaranchal University

Dehradun, 22 Jul: The Guru-Dakshata Faculty Induction Programme (FIP) 2026–27, organised by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Uttaranchal University, was successfully conducted from 15 to 22 July at the Seminar Hall, School of Applied & Life Sciences (SALS).

The inaugural session, held on 16 July, was addressed by University President Jitendra Joshi, Vice President Ankita Joshi, Vice Chancellor Prof Dharam Buddhi, and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Rajesh Bahuguna.

Prof Ajay Singh, Director, SALS, welcomed the dignitaries by presenting saplings to symbolise the University’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

During the inaugural session, Prof Rajesh Bahuguna welcomed the gathering; Prof Dharam Buddhi emphasised academic excellence and professional ethics; Ankita Joshi inspired the faculty to foster innovation and student-centric learning; and Jitendra Joshi blessed the participants and encouraged them to contribute to the University’s vision of excellence.

The programme was hosted and coordinated by Dr Shipra Shah, Coordinator, HRDC, and featured expert sessions on academic policies, research and innovation, quality assurance, examination systems, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), ERP, IT infrastructure, and institutional support services, providing newly appointed faculty members with a comprehensive orientation to the University’s academic and administrative ecosystem.
