DEHRADUN, 21 Aug: Pavani Chhabra, a young talent from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has made the nation and the State proud by winning the prestigious international crown of Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2026. The grand event was held in Sri Lanka on July 26 this year under the aegis of a renowned Filipino international organisation. Pavani, through her dedication, confidence and perseverance, showcased Indian culture and youthful spirit on the global stage, earning recognition not only for India but also for Uttarakhand.
Contestants from Japan, Russia, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and several other countries participated in the competition. Pavani stood out with her poise, personality and representation of Indian traditions, ultimately securing the coveted title. Her journey from the hills of Dehradun to an international platform is an inspiring story of hard work, determination and the realisation of dreams.
Speaking to Garhwal Post, Pavani shared that she is preparing for the Miss Universe competition. She also added that she dreams to make a career in modelling and acting and already she has a few assignments in her hands. She further added that one of her movies has already been filmed and is currently under post production.
Her supporters asserted that by winning Miss Teen Tourism Globe 2026, Pavani has once again demonstrated that aspirations from small towns can achieve global acclaim. Her achievement is a testament to the talent and confidence of India’s youth, and it has brought immense pride to Uttarakhand, highlighting the State’s rich culture and the strength of its young generation.
