Mathura, 29 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Mathura today on a two-day visit, where he called on Giriraj Maharaj at the Danghati Temple in Govardhan Dham, where Lord Krishna is believed to have spent part of his childhood. During his stay at Govardhan Dham, the CM offered prayers and wished for the prosperity of the country and the state. After this, Dhami also met party workers at Guru Kripa Garden. He was given a warm welcome by the party workers.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council member Om Prakash Singh, MLA Puran Prakash, former MLA Karinda Singh, former chairman Khemchandra Sharma, Mahadev Sharma welcomed him by presenting him an image of Giriraj Prabhu.
Addressing the party workers, CM Dhami said that, today, India is establishing a new work culture and achieving new dimensions of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Uttarakhand has completed 23 years of existence as a separate state. Uttarakhand is writing a new script of development. After this, the Chief Minister reached Danghati Temple and after having darshan of Giriraj Maharaj, undertook a parikrama also. Later, Dhami also reached Braj Vasundhara and stay the night there in a cottage.
