Haridwar, 4 Aug: The birthday of Patanjali Yogpeeth General Secretary Acharya Balkrishna was celebrated today as Herb Day. In the programme organised in Patanjali Yogpeeth Auditorium, all the personnel associated with Patanjali Yogpeeth, students of the university and seekers, etc., congratulated Acharya Balkrishna.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishna said that his birthday is an occasion for him to present the report of research done throughout the year. Along with this, blood donation camps are held and tree plantation is also carried out.
Acharya Balkrishna informed that recently a report of Patanjali Research Centre has been published in the International Journal which mentions that Patanjali Research Centre has developed a technology for identifying adulterated food. Through this adulteration in food can be detected through a strip without food testing lab. Once this research is completed, this strip will be available for the general public.
