Dehradun, 18 Aug: Ann Mary School hosted the Inter-School RC Singhal Memorial Chess Tournament on 16-17 August under the aegis of the Dehradun Council Schools Association (DDCSA). Twenty-four schools of Dehradun took part in the tournament. The event kick-started by deciding the fixtures on a lottery basis. Boys and girls put their heads together to beat their opponents. At the event, international chess rules were followed to decide the winners.
We are proud to announce the result tally which is as follows: Junior Girls Winner – Suhani Rani, Brightlands School. Runner Up – Manvi Chandel, RRRA. Junior Boys Winner – Sparsh Bisht, Ann Mary School. Runner Up – Kartik Uniyal, The Heritage School. Senior Girls Winner – Nandini Jindal, St Partick’s School. Runner Up – Mansi Aggarwal, Shivalik International School. Senior Boys Winner – Ojas Singh, Brightlands School. Runner Up – Shourya Rawat, Ann Mary School.
Trophies were presented at the award ceremony to proud winners by the Director, Ankita Joshi, and SK Mehta.
