Haridwar, 22 Aug: Patanjali has stated in a press release that a baseless and conspiratorial rumour has been spread in the country that Ayurvedic medicines harm the kidneys.
It asserts that the Ayurvedic formulation, Renogrit, not only heals kidneys damaged by the allopathic anti-cancer drug Cisplatin but also alleviates oxidative stress on kidney cells.
These findings are not merely claims; they are supported by the renowned American research journal, Nature ‘s Scientific Reports.

On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishna stated that various Ayurvedic texts describe remedies for kidney diseases, and these conditions have been effectively treated since ancient times. He further emphasised that Ayurveda is the ultimate
truth, substantiated by research evidence.
