Dehradun, 27 Aug: Under Graphic Era Educational Society’s campaign to ensure no one stays hungry, food packets were distributed in two locations of Clement Town, today.
These food packets were distributed to hundreds of poor families residing in Clement Town’s Society and Ogal Bhatta areas, today. The packets included ration for one family for about seven days, including lentils, rice, flour, sugar, tea, oil, salt, etc.
Vice Chairperson Rakhi Ghanshala said that to make women independent, several arrangements have also been made to teach them skills that can be used while staying at home. Good results have emerged from this.
She said that Graphic Era by running this campaign is helping people as a social responsibility. Due to continuous rain, many people whose livelihood depends on daily labour have been facing issues. For the help of such people, an extensive campaign is being run. Very soon such campaigns will also be held in Dhoolkot, Mehre ka Gaon and Bansiwala.
It was during Covid that Graphic Era started this campaign of providing food to thousands of people for many months and ensured that they never went hungry. After that, this campaign has become a regular series.
