3-Day National Conference on Radiation held at Graphic Era

Dehradun, 9 Oct: On the last day of the ‘National Conference on Radiation’ organised at Graphic Era, Abhishek Joshi from HNB Garhwal University won the first prize in paper presentation category.
In this 3-day National Conference held at Graphic Era Deemed University, more than 35 paper presentations and 85 poster presentations were presented.
In the valedictory session of this conference, Prof Tibor Kovacs won second prize in paper presentation category. Vinay Rawat from SGRR won third prize in the same category. The first prize in poster presentation category was awarded to Krishna Pal Singh of PNG Government Degree College, Ramnagar. Beant Kaur from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, won second prize and Sania from Zakir Hussain College, New Delhi, won third prize in the poster presentation category.
The National Conference was organised by the Department of Physics in association with National Radon Network Society. HoD Dr Fateh Singh Gill, President of RADNET Prof RC Ramola, Vice President Prof BS Bajwa, Coordinator Prof Kuldeep Singh, Senior Researcher at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, Dr SA Pandit, Convener Dr Sanjeev Kimothi, Scientists, Researchers and PhD scholars from across the globe were present at the conference.
