Dehradun, 30 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has extended National Unity Day greetings to the people. This day is celebrated on the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary. Paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the CM said that his contribution to protecting the unity and integrity of the country would always be remembered. He noted that Sardar Patel’s diplomacy and foresight crucially contributed to the creation of a unified India. Sardar Patel fulfilled the dream of Akhand Bharat through his strong will, foresight, and unwavering dedication, and did the great work of making India a strong nation.
Dhami also remarked that Sardar Patel gave to the people an India where there is a sense of unity despite diversity. Every citizen of the country will remain indebted to him for his incomparable contribution. He called upon the younger generation to draw inspiration from the ideals of Sardar Patel and contribute to the all-round development of the country. The Chief Minister added that this occasion also inspires one to dedicate oneself to the service of the nation.
