Mussoorie, 1 May: The Third Confluential Session for the academic year 2025 was hosted at St George’s College, here, today. The event sought to offer students valuable insights from stories of struggle, perseverance and success.
The Guest Speaker was Ken Spillman, a prolific writer of children’s literature, who was formally introduced by Sumanyu Sharma of Class 6.
In his address, Ken Spillman said that reading stimulates the mind with imagination and creativity. It opens doorways to different worlds and enriches the ability to concentrate, to recall and explore.
A stimulating Q&A session followed, allowing students to engage with the speaker and gain further insights. The event concluded with the presentation of a memento to the guest as a token of gratitude.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Sumanyu Sharma of Class 6, marking the end of an inspiring and thought-provoking session.
The third session of Confluential was successfully conducted under the supervision of Brother Ramesh Amalanathan (Principal), Brother Felix Kumar (Vice-Principal and Sports Secretary), Nihazia Urooj Khan, Bhavnesh Negi, Mark Gonsalves, PD Jaiswal, Juliana D’Souza, Stormy Hazarika and Pallavi Goel.
