Dehradun, 7 May: Veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat and Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Karan Mahara have congratulated the Indian Armed Forces for its valour shown during Operation Sindoor carried out very early this morning.
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat lauded the Forces, stating that the operation has reaffirmed India’s strength and its ability to eliminate threats anywhere in the world. He emphasised that India will not remain silent when its people are attacked and that terrorists will be hunted down wherever they hide.
Rawat further remarked that India stands united, and in case Pakistan continues its aggression, the response will be even more severe. He warned that terrorist training centres, including those responsible for past attacks on Parliament and Mumbai, will not be spared.
At the same time, Congress State President Karan Mahara also extended his support for Operation Sindoor, stating that the entire nation stands together in ensuring a strong response to terrorism. He reiterated that the opposition fully supports the government’s actions against Pakistan and terrorist organisations.
Mahara also reminded that Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi had previously affirmed that, if Pakistan and terrorism pose a threat to India, the government has their full backing in taking decisive action.
