IHM Dehradun opens Admissions for BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration

Dehradun, 26 May: The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Dehradun, an institute under the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced the opening of admissions for the BS. Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) programme through the NCHM JEE 2025 Counselling process.

The counselling registration and choice filling for Round 1 commenced on 26 May and will continue until 30 May. The entire process is conducted online through the official NCHM counselling portal: www.nchmcounselling.nic.in.

Speaking to the media, Dr Shiv Mohan, Principal of IHM Dehradun, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming a new batch of aspiring hospitality professionals.

“IHM Dehradun is committed to offering quality education, hands-on training, and global opportunities. Our graduates are industry-ready and sought after by leading hotel chains, airlines, and tourism organizations both in India and abroad,” said Dr Mohan.

Key Features of the Programme are a 3-year full-time degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration; Jointly awarded by NCHMCT and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU); includes specialised training in Food Production, F&B Service, Front Office, and Housekeeping; Option for vegetarian-only cooking training; Robust placement support with recruiters from luxury hotels, cruise lines, airlines, and retail sectors.

NCHM JEE 2025 Counselling Schedule:

First Round Registration & Choice Filling: May 26–30; Seat Allotment – Round 1: May 31; Final Round Seat Allotment: June 16. Physical Reporting at IHM Dehradun is required on July 21–27. Academic Session Commences: July 28, 2025.

Eligible candidates will need to pay a non-refundable counselling registration fee of Rs 2,000 and select IHM Dehradun during the online choice filling process. A Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) of RS 20,000 will be applicable upon allotment.
