Dehradun, 26 May: A video of stunt driving with cars on the roads of Maldevta area has gone viral on social media. In the video, three four-wheelers can be seen doing dangerous stunts in the middle of the road. After the video spread online, police seized all three cars under the Motor Vehicles Act.
Following orders, Raipur Police identified the vehicles and their drivers. Two Thar cars and one Safari seen in the video, were seized under the Motor Vehicles Act. Legal action has also been taken against all three drivers.
The drivers involved are Amit Garg from Rajpur Road, Ritik from IDPL Colony, Rishikesh, and Mehul Verma from Natthanpur, Nehru Colony. The seized vehicles include a red Thar, a black Safari, and a black Thar.
The police have warned that such acts not only break the law but also put lives at risk. Action will be taken against anyone who performs such stunts on public roads.
